Infrastructure and User Services
NCC-BEIT consists of five so called Workshops that host infrastructures in Advanced Imaging and Theranostics, Robotics and Smart Surgery, Microfabrication, Material Science, Bioprinting and Organoids, and Computational Life Science. These workshops provide high-end equipment, design and production facilities, robotic tools, imaging systems, and digital infrastructure. Services include research collaboration, access to lab equipment and databases, training, and integration support for academic and industrial researchers.
Examples/description of the type of research
NCC-BEIT facilitates cutting-edge research across life sciences, health sciences, engineering, nanotechnology, robotics, and biomedical imaging. Research includes early disease detection, personalized treatment development, smart surgery, diagnostic technologies, digital twins, and health data science.
How to access the infrastructure?
NCC-BEIT provides a hybrid access mechanism. During the initial phase, access is primarily physical (~70%) through on-site use of labs, imaging suites, and fabrication units. Remote access (~30%) is available for digital tools, databases, and computational resources. External users, both academic and industrial, submit a project proposal which is evaluated based on scientific quality and relevance. Accepted users gain time-limited, supervised access to facilities and services. Internal users access via institutional affiliation. All users must comply with ethical, safety, and FAIR data standards.
